Villa Filanda Antonini adheres to the 20th edition of Giornate del Contemporaneo, promoted by AMACI – Associazione dei Musei d’Arte Contemporanea Italiani.

In this occasion, we invite you to the opening event on Saturday, October 12 with the Open Atelier and the opportunity to meet the three new resident artists Davide Ronco, Priss Niinikoski and Xiao Zhiyu.

At the Open Atelier it will be possible to explore their design approach through a day full of moments of sharing and research.

3 P.M.-4 P.M. MAKING WITH EARTH BY DAVIDE RONCO 
Artist Davide Ronco will lead an informal interactive presentation exploring the material properties of the soils and clays he has collected in the Treviso area. In this presentation you will be able to create a small clay object.

4-5 P.M. WEAVING FIBERS AND SOUNDS BY PRISS NIINIKOSKI
Artist Priss Niinikoski will showcase her research and techniques in merging textiles with electronics. From coiling and spinning to crafting textile speakers, she blends analog and digital methods to create tactile auditory experiences.

GUIDED TOURS
Guided tours of the exhibition You see I am here after all, a group show featuring site-specific works made by guest artists during the year 2023, are available.
