On Friday, June 13, from 17:00 to 20:00, Villa Filanda Antonini opens Daydreaming, a group painting exhibition born from a careful selection of artists connected to the Veneto region.

Curated in collaboration with Sabrina Comin, the exhibition unfolds across two floors of the villa, transforming the space into a realm suspended between reality and imagination. Each room becomes a landscape of visions and introspection, where the dialogue between the artworks and the architecture opens portals to intimate and dreamlike dimensions.

The title Daydreaming evokes a state of suspension — an inner journey between memory and imagination. While Villa Filanda Antonini, with its welcoming atmosphere, invites a sense of domestic and lived-in space, the works on display seem to escape any fixed grounding, following fluid and unpredictable trajectories. Like a waking dream, the exhibition moves between presence and disappearance, between the familiar and what shifts into an alternate vision.

The nine featured artists come from different generations and expressive paths. Daydreaming thus becomes an exploration of contemporary painting, revealing how echoes of the 20th century intertwine with new and personal sensibilities, generating images that hover between the tangible and the ephemeral.
