Il Pasticciere Film Festival is a series of domestic and semi-clandestine screenings featuring cakes staged in films. It’s an imagined world that suddenly overflows into reality with the materialization of a fictitious character (@il_pasticciere_trotzkista ), ready to turn himself into chef for the event.

The “festival” aims to be a chance for a surprise evening of film and dessert, a secret retreat for a few hours, a place where desserts become something more than just a comforting, nostalgic and sentimental commodity. PFF is a festival conceived by Caterina Gabelli and the ‘Trotzkist Pastry Chef’, in collaboration with Alessandro Calabrese and Matteo Baratto.
