OPENINGS, PERFORMANCES, AND SUMMER PARTY
‘You see I am here after all’ opens on Saturday, June 29, from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm at the old spinning mill of Lancenigo, Villorba. During the evening, the former factory and the garden is activated with dance and sound performances, and DJ Sets.

17:30 EXHIBITION OPENING ‘YOU SEE I AM HERE AFTER ALL’
The exhibition project, curated by Livia E. Lazzarini, explores the artistic and intangible results of the residencies that took place in 2023. Among them Theo Alexander, Sunette L. Viljoen, Alessandro Cugola, Swinda Oelke, Lucian Moriyama, Rosario Aninat, and Simon Shim-Sutcliffe.
6:30 P.M. SOLO PERFORMANCE BY LARA DAMASO
Lara Damaso acts “Dialog piece (channeling)”, a performance that explores the potential of the human voice and its bodily expression. The artist states: “I am a channel, an open container. I inhabit space and space inhabits me. We resonate in a fluid dialog – forever changed – as invisible motion flows through.”
7:30 P.M. SOUND COMPOSITION BY THEO ALEXANDER
Composer Theo Alexander performs his work “The Greater Field”, an immersive sound experience that uses industrial architecture as a soundbox. The composition features bells and organ on tape, performed by the two mezzo-sopranos Nina Baietta and Chiara Cecconello.
20:30-22:30 DJ SET
The villa garden hosts two Dj Sets on vinyl. DJ Äli and DJ Kasala will take turns at the console. During the event, attendees can find a food truck to enjoy local beers and Cicchetti.
