“Villa Filanda Antonini is ready to welcome the new residents for March 2026. A mix of performative, visual, and curatorial arts will animate this residency season. As part of our program in VFA we always encourage exchange and dialogue between different form of art and crafts, believing that sharing skilled experiences is the most precious resource of production”. During March, we will host open studio, talks and performance sessions.
Caterina Gobbi is an Italian artist and experimental musician working across performance, sound, and sculpture. With a focus on personal experience, ideas of “nature”, concepts of feminism, and the potential of immersive sonic landscapes, her work explores the relationship between bodies and their environment. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Royal College of Art in London (2018) and is currently based in Turin.
Caterina has been awarded by VFA in the ArtVerona ‘Effetto Sauna’ section, to support young talents growth.
Andro Eradze (Georgia) is an artist and filmmaker based in Tbilisi. His practice explores the qualitative nature of images, both still and moving, and their ability to evoke states of presence, memory, and spectrality. Eradze studied at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University and later completed the MFA program at the Center of Contemporary Art – Tbilisi (CCA-T). Working primarily in Georgia, he constructs narratives that emerge on the fringes of human habitation. Blending photography, installation, video, and experimental cinema, Eradze’s visual language is attuned to the unstable temporality of the Anthropocene, one in which the present is already fading and multiple realities coexist. His practice builds on the legacy of surrealism and magical realism, traditions that dissolve distinctions between the imag- ined and the actual, myth and matter, perception and disappearance.
Andro has been awarded by VFA as the recipient of Ducato Prize Residency Award
Nicolas Vamvouklis (Greece) is an Athens-based curator and writer working across contemporary art and performance. His practice attends to the bodily as a meeting point between visual and live arts, and to the ways mediation and care can broaden audiences for experimental practices. He has curated exhibitions and live programs for the Mediterranea Young Artists Biennale, the Thessaloniki Biennale, the Athens Conservatory, and Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. He previously served as Senior Curator within the Benetton Foundation’s art programs, and has collaborated with institutions and galleries including Béjart Ballet Lausanne, Prague Quadrennial, Triennale Milano, the Onassis Foundation, White Cube, Sies+Höke, and Kalfayan Galleries. His writing has appeared in Flash Art, Sternberg Press, Observer, Tanz, Domus, and Afterall Journal. In 2021, he was awarded the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship by ARTWORKS. In 2024–2025, he was Associate Director at The Breeder in Athens. Since 2024, he has led the performance section of Art Athina in partnership with Flux Laboratory. He is the founder of K-Gold Temporary Gallery on Lesvos island.
